Dear Friend - Jonathan Wilson
Jonathan Wilson is back. Finally. It’s been less than a year since his kickass EP “Pity Trials and Tomorrows Child”, but no time can be too short between albums for an artist of Wilson’s caliber. He continues his progression away from America-esque folk rock to a more rough around the edges psychedelic sound, and it works. His voice is smooth as ever, production as stellar as ever and the instrumentals, oh the instrumentals. The guitar playing on “Dear Friend”, like with most his work, is rivaled only by the stellar bass lines he rips off in his home studio. How this guy can be so good at so many instruments is mind blowing.

I’ve been away for a while, moving houses, switching between jobs and restarting classes again after a long break. I’ll be consistent again, I promise.
